Tomato, pastel & watercolour

Portrait of a tomato. This began as a study for approaching watercolours in a different way to my usual style. It didn't go where I wanted it to go as a watercolour and there's no going back once you're on the wrong path with those paints. So pastel and charcoal were angrily introduced and it eventually turned into a tomato.
