Banknotes for Saatchi

I was asked to make four originals for the new book Cash is King 2 which features defaced banknotes from artists around the world. The problem being that they had to be actual banknotes that had been altered, which meant finding out of circulation 1990's notes to collage my print pieces on to. Quite a bit of work but really worth it for the end result, lots of desaturation and scale issues and then working with spray mount on tiny pieces is never easy but I'm pleased to say all four are now finished and being scanned for the book and set up for the Saatchi exhibition at the Duke of York's HQ, Chelsea in late August.
